What is Vacation Camp?

Looking for something for kids ages 6-13 to do during school breaks? Check out the Edgar May Health and Recreation Center Adventure Vacation Camp. These camps take place over December, February, and April vacations. The fun-filled week includes group activities, crafts, swimming, BOGA, and daytrips. Sign up for the week or for an individual day.

Registration is open for 2024 April Vacation Camp, April 8-12, 2024. Register online, call 802-885-2568, or speak to Member Services at the Front Desk.

2024 February Camp

April 8 to 12, 2024 from 8:00am to 4:00pm

Monday, April 8: Campers will spend the day at the EdgarMay with swimming, BOGA, outdoor games, the Climbing Tower, and more. We will also walk to the Springfield Police Station for a tour.

Tuesday, April 9: Camp will be traveling to VINS Nature Reserve in Quechee, VT and then return to the EdgarMay for games and activities.

Wednesday, April 10: Camp is back at the EdgarMay for BOGA, pool games, crafts and table activities, the Climbing Tower, and more. We will also tour the Springfield Fire Station.

Thursday, April 11: Spend the day at Krazy Kids Indoor Park in Pembroke, NH. Campers will enjoy the bouncy houses, trampolines, slides, and other indoor playground activities. We will return to the EdgarMay for outdoor games on the turf.

Friday, April 12: We will have a Field Day full of games, games, games. Campers will compete in sack races, tug-o-war, egg relays, and more. We end the camp week with swimming, BOGA, and pool games in the afternoon.
