There are many ways to support the EdgarMay

The Edgar May Health and Recreation Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is committed to improving the health and wellness of our region. This vision includes improving health outcomes, supporting and strengthening families, and providing new and unique opportunities for our children. We thank you for your support in helping us bring this vision to reality here in the greater Springfield, Vermont region.

We are committed to serving our community. With the support of our generous donors and volunteers, we can continue to provide new opportunities for area residents to live active and healthy lifestyles.

KIDS TO CAMP CAMPAIGN

Help us send kids to our Adventure Summer Camp. Our needs-based financial assistance program allows kids ages 7 to 14 attend our summer day camp sessions regardless of income. It's an amazing opportunity to make an impact in a child's life.

At camp, children will engage with their peers, build confidence and communication skills, participate in active activities on our climbing tower and in our pools, and explore the world around them with our regional day trips.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

The EdgarMay improves health outcomes by providing free programs for the community like our Slow Aqua and Move to Improve classes. We support and strengthen children and families by providing new and unique opportunities like our Sensory Swim playgroup and First Fins free swimming lessons for Springfield first graders. We also provide new and unique opportunities for children to learn and grow with our Adventure Summer Camp and special youth-focused events.

This important work is almost always done below what it costs the EdgarMay to provide the opportunity. This is where we need your help to continue the important work we are providing our community. Your gift to the EdgarMay Annual Campaign allows us to ensure these opportunities exist for everyone.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

The EdgarMay Foundry Building expansion project will allow us to significantly expand our services and respond to community needs in the next building. The redevelopment of the Foundry will include a infant/toddler preschool daycare facility, an indoor turf field, pickleball court, indoor rock climbing gym, additional studio and fitness space, an indoor walking track, and more!

With your help, we can expand our services to meet the needs of our community today and in the future. Contact Christian Craig to ask about capital gift or naming opportunities.
