The all-new Springfield Dam Run is back for 2026! Once again we will be featuring our three different events all in one exciting, family fun afternoon.
For children 12 and under our Kids Half-Mile Fun Run is a great way to introduce younger children to running events. This closed trail event is safe, exciting, rewarding, and FREE for all participants.
Returning for its second time ever is our Maniac Mile — a one-mile sprint for individuals ages 10 and older! How fast can you go? Prizes will be given to the top male and female finishers of this race. This event is $20.
Our traditional Springfield Dam Run, is a beautiful 5K, taking place entirely at the Army Corps of Engineers property at the Springfield Dam. Featuring a mix of trails, dirt road, slight elevation gain and fast downhills, it is sure to challenge all runners. We also welcome walkers and families with strollers to participate in this scenic course with stunning views of Mt. Ascutney. This event is $30 and open to individuals of all ages.

Kids Half-Mile Fun Run
This half-mile closed trail fun run is open and FREE* for all youth under age 12. All children who are registered and participate in the fun run will be entered into a raffle for a youth mountain bike.
*The Dam Run is also FREE for ages 12 and under. Any child who participates in any of the races will be entered in the mountain bike raffle.

We welcome runners, walkers, family, and friends to join in this scenic 5K featuring a mix of trails, dirt road, slight elevation gain and fast downhills. Enjoy stunning late summer views of Mt. Ascutney. Open to all ages.
